Founded in 1978 by a bequest from the late Leo Howard, Ph.D. A.N.U., BSc, Senior Lecturer in Mathematics at The University of Queensland, and funds raised by his friends to increase his bequest for the purpose of creating a suitable memorial to him.

Eligibility for The Leo Howard Memorial Bursary
To be eligible for the scholarship, you must have completed the first 2 semesters of any of the following programs: Bachelor of Engineering (Honors), an integrated Bachelor of Engineering Honors/Master of Engineering, and a dual program that includes the Bachelor of Engineering (Honors).
